If you have ever seen satellite images of the earth taken from outer space, you will understand the reverence that I feel every time I see the earth suspended in space, blue and beautiful, quietly testifying of the Power of Yahweh Almighty.
In Job 26 the author captures an ode to the Mighty One that he knew personally. His insight into the power and might of Yahweh quieted every suggestion or speculation that Yahweh was in the business of punishing Job for deeds only his friends accused him of. Job’s response in this chapter is not in defense of himself or his innocence, but rather a tribute to the just, powerful, sovereign character of Yahweh almighty.
Today scripture demonstrates, the omnipotence of Father Yahweh and just how little energy or pull on His force it takes to keep the earth in its place, responding to His word and commands as in the beginning. This is a good time to remember that you are not suspended in nothingness, not detached from His power and purpose. You are held by HIM, by the fringes of His force, by the laws and lines laid out at creation, ordered to sustain you, in this place, in His sight and under His control.
As you discover the depths of His power and love, you will find it to be true that He exalts the humble; He vindicates injustice; He honors faithfulness and His love is everlasting. Therefore, what you are accused of does not matter; how you are judged by the carnal is not your concern, because Yahweh is the God of justice and truth.
Humble yourself and see Yahweh in His greatness. Remember how He has proven over and over again that He loves you and cares about you. Release all your cares to Him. Remain suspended in the atmosphere of the Creator of the heavens and the earth and in His love that keeps you centered, in orbit and completing your purpose and fulfilling your call.
